RAC Membership Registration and Renewals

Welcome to the Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC) website.

Thank you for choosing to join Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC) or deciding to renew your membership! If you are ready to proceed with your membership application please choose from the options provided below.

Options Available:

You may join RAC or renew your membership in the following ways:

  • Online: by completing the renewal form provided below. Payments must be made by credit card or by PayPal.
  • By phone: by calling 877-273-8304 from 10 am to 4 pm EST/EDT, Monday through Friday (except statutory holidays). You may pay by credit card or you may send a cheque for the appropriate amount to the RAC head office
  • By mail: If you prefer to pay by credit card but don’t wish to use the online form you can download an application from the Membership Renewals webpage and mail it to the RAC Office.

RAC Maple Leaf Operator Memberships are available in Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.

Radio Amateurs of Canada represents all Canadian Amateurs at all levels of government. Speaking on behalf of Canadian Radio Amateurs, RAC provides liaison with government agencies and carries the Amateur voice about regulatory and spectrum issues to the discussion table with government and industry leaders, nationally and internationally.

RAC is also the Canadian voting member society of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU).

RAC Membership Application: Both New Members and Renewals

If you are ready to join RAC or to renew your membership by using your credit card, please the membership renewals page.

If you are already a RAC member – thank you for your continued support! 

You should see your name in the top right corner of this webpage. If it is not there you may need to login first using your primary call sign. You can then renew your membership and pay by credit card by using the form provided on the membership renewals page. If you don’t want to use the online form you can also use one of the renewal options provided above.

Instructions for completing the application form:

If you live in the United States or other international country please complete the online form on the US and International webpage.

You must use a unique email address. When signing up as a new member please use your call sign as your username. If you are signing up a family member please login again with their call sign and then complete a second transaction. Family members must have their own email address or insert their call email address and make a request to the RAC Headquarters to setup an email alias.
